It was last September, only five months after our opening when a Michelin inspector visited Laurel Budapest for the first time and he immediately classified our restaurant as recommended in the Michelin Guide published recently. The value of this recognition is even higher considering that Laurel Budapest was the only new restaurant included in the guide in 2020, with a really young team. The recognition of the best known independent professional jury of the fine dining restaurants is flattering, even if for us your opinion is the most important. This recognition has been the result of real teamwork in such a short time and – as Ádám has also explained in a recent interview – we do not want to stop at this point. Our professional aims for our first year have been reached through the recommendation of the Michelin Guide and through the fact that the Dining Guide has classified us among the best restaurants, and we intend to improve further day by day.
